Knowing Jesus and Making Jesus Known doesn't happen naturally.

Why Community Groups? 

At Southern Hills we desire to be faithful followers of Jesus, but we can't follow Jesus faithfully in isolation.  Being in community is necessary, not because it serves us as individuals, but because it reflects God's design and proclaims His redemptive purposes.  

The church is this local community, and it is here that we enjoy the intimacy that comes from being in committed relationships with other believers.

What is a Community Group?

A Community Group provides the accountability we need to grow in knowledge and obedience to Jesus Christ.

We are people pursuing Christlikeness which means: worshipping Jesus together, caring for one another, providing guidance-encouragment-exhortatation for one another, and embracing our responsibility to introduce Jesus to those outside the church.

A typical community group meeting lasts about ninety minutes and includes prayer and sermon based discussion and response.

When and where do Community Groups meet?

Our Community Groups meet in homes throughout the week currently on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights.
